Answer:
Foolish boy
I was once waiting at the bus stop for my bus. A fairly well dressed woman was standing next to me. As she got talking, I noticed the right sleeve of his shirt lying loose. She told me that he did not have one arm and that he had lost it a few years back in an accident. It had also cost him his job. She asked me if I could lend him some money and give him my address. She said that he would repay it to me in a couple of days after he met her uncle who had got him a job. Everyone looked at me as I gave him a Rs.500/- note from my wallet.
A month passed and I had not seen him. In fact, I had almost forgotten about him. One day, when I was dining with a friend in a restaurant, I saw the same woman come in with a girl. The woman had both hands and he was swirling a key ring on the index finger of his right hand. I realized that I had been a fool to blindly believe that woman’s sob story.

Commonlit Why Do We Hate Love?: Part B: Which of the following quotes best supports the answers to Part A?
Answer:
"Why Do We Hate Love?"
1. We hate love for various psychological reasons. Love can arouse anxiety and threaten old defenses. In the past one could build emotional blocks that close off emotional feelings. When love is showed to such a person, they can become suddenly saddened, because they feel the pain of not being loved in the past. Being loved also questions a person's self-concept, thus, provoking identity crisis within. The love enjoyed in the family can also make a person to find love outside the family difficult, as they feel disconnected.
2. A "...many people are unaware that being loved or especially valued makes them feel angry and withholding."
Explanation:
The line dividing love and hate is very thin. For example, when sex is used as a tool to show love, hate may result if the other party does not approve of it. This is why young men should be careful to suggest or apply sexual maneuvers over their lovebirds. Love should be solidified before sex, allowing sex to result from love and not love from sex.
The quotation that most adequately backs the answer to part A would be:
A). "...many people are unaware that being loved or especially valued makes them feel angry and withholding."(paragraph 2).
Part A functions to elaborate on the psychological causes that lead an individual to hate or feel detested about love. It elaborates that love may produce feelings of discomfort and fear and also evoke danger to previous denials. The display of love to such an individual might evoke an ocean of grief and pain as they associated it with the past.In the given part, the quotation that backs this idea would be "...many...withholding" as it substantiates the above claim that the immediate love displayed to people makes them realize of the past events when they were not loved that way. This causes them to feel distressed, anxious, and concealing which they had been unaware of till now. Thus, option A is the correct answer.

Answer:
Bholi's face was affected with small-pox.
Explanation:
The short story "Bholi" by K A Abbas revolves around the story of a young girl named Sulekha also known as Bholi. She suffered from smallpox from the age of two which affected her whole body except her eyes. But that did not deter her from becoming a sensible, educated woman.
She suffered from smallpox, leaving her disfigured. Moreover, she stammered a lot and was only able to speak clearly at the age of five. But all that did not deter her. She went to the village's school and get an education. So, when her parents arranged a marriage for her to a much older man named Bishamber, and the man demanded more money in "exchange" for her "deformity", she refused to let that ruin her life. Rather, she decided to remain single and become a teacher and help others instead of becoming a burden for her parents.

can somebody write me a letter about helping people and feed homeless people and why to provide shelter for people
We should feed and shelter the homeless because not everyone is as fortunate as you. People go hungry everyday and most of us throw away food we don't eat. People sleep under bridges every night while you're sleeping in your bed, inside your home. Its inhumane to just sit there and watch someone go hungry, or sleep under a bridge. The least you could do is drive them to a homeless shelter, and if there isn't one nearby, maybe you have a shed or an extra room they could sleep in. Or you could buy them some food and a warm blanket to sleep with. Whatever you do, don't just ignore the homeless. They step out and hold their signs because they are asking you to help, isn't that enough for you?
Help and feed the homeless! <3
Answer:
helping people is good.Especially the homeless people.Sometimes helping people feels good like how L'm helping you now!Why should I provide shelter for the people in need?I should do it because they might need it!

What group is targeted negatively but indirectly by Swift in "A Modest Proposal"?
A.
English lords
B.
Children of Ireland
C.
Impoverished families
D.
French government officials
A.) English lords
Explanation: They are primarily being negatively targeted.
The group that is targeted negatively but indirectly by Swift in "A Modest Proposal" is Children of Ireland. The correct option is B.
What is "A Modest Proposal"?Jonathan Swift wrote the satirical essay "A Modest Proposal" in 1729. The essay proposes a shocking solution to Ireland's poverty problem.
Swift's proposal is satirical and ironic in that he suggests that the poor Irish sell their children for food to the wealthy English.
This proposal is intended to highlight the English cruelty and indifference toward the Irish, but it indirectly targets Irish children by treating them as commodities to be traded and consumed.
While Swift criticizes the English lords and their oppressive policies toward the Irish, the proposal is not specifically directed at them.
Swift's primary audience is the English public, whom he believes is complicit in the suffering of the Irish and must be shocked into action.
Thus, the correct option is B.
