For the people who are good with narrative nonfiction and killer whales please help!
Write a narrative nonfiction story about killer whales.
Answer:
Swirly was an adorable year old killer whale calf. She is already eight feet big and has a white eyepatch that swirls at the end on both sides. She lives with her mom in their pod. The pod consists of about 40 other killer whales. Swirly never really hunted with the pod since she was still too young. She only recently started to eat solid foods like fish, squid, and some seabirds. She is slowly getting used to eating them and still prefers her mother's milk. One day when Swirly was swimming, she found herself separated from her mother and the pod. As she used echolocation by making whistles and pulsed calls for her mom. She was unfortunate and a giant squid found her. It had his tentacles around her tiny body. Compared to the giant squid who was about 55 feet she was only about 10 feet. She tried hard to get out of his grasp. He had a tentacle around her mouth, unable to open her mouth to bite him she squirmed even more. Without any warning her mother came to her rescue with about half of the pod. Swirly's mother headbutted the giant squid and that was enough to get him away from Swirly. Other pod members also pitched in and bumped the giant squid breaking many bones. As soon as he wasn't able to move they ate him as he sunk to the bottom of the ocean. Swirly ate some as well as she was used to eating solid foods. Now that she was two years old she can leave her mother's side and start hunting with the pod. She went on daily hunts and even led some hunts. She became one of the best hunters in the pod. Now that she was about 15 years old, she found a mate and after several months she gave birth. It was her turn to take care of a calf. As she was feeding her baby, a terrible storm hit. Everyone in the pod went to a safe place but her calf that wasn't fast enough got swept away. She went back to try and get him. They whistled and clicked, but the storm was really bad. It took awhile for Swirly to finally get to her calf after the storm had passed. Now they were both separated from the pod. They barely managed to survive alone since Swirly's whole life was surrounded with many others. She was too dependent on the pod, since she was very social. Miraculously, they managed to find the way to the rest of the pod. As they were swimming back Swirly got caught in an incoming ghost net. She was then tied up by it and began sinking. The others tried to help her but the net was barely visible. She fell and fell continuously to the bottom of the ocean. Her calf followed her but was stopped by the other killer whales since he could die from all the water pressure from the deep ocean. Sadly Swirly wasn't able to make it and she died from not getting enough air. The undersea creatures ate her as she was already dead before reaching the bottom.

What is the theme of the poem?
By and by Man will try
To get out into the sky,
Sailing far beyond the air
From Down and Here to Up and There.
Stars and sky, sky and stars
Make us feel the prison bars
Suppose it done. Now we ride
Closed in steel, up there, outside
Through our port-holes see the vast
Heaven-scape go rushing past.
Shall we? All that meets the eye
Is sky and stars, stars and sky.
Points of light with black between
Hang like a painted scene
Motionless, no nearer there
Than on Earth, everywhere
Equidistant from our ship.
Heaven has given us the slip.
Hush, be still. Outer space
Is a concept, not a place.
Try no more. Where we are
Never can be sky or star.
From prison, in a prison, we fly;
There's no way into the sky.

Read this passage from Liesl's brother's diary.
I draw pictures of New York in my diary every night. Every time I think about New York, my legs jitter with excitement. Everything will be so new and different! I practice English with everyone I know, even with my family who still wants to speak to me in German. I'm starting to think in English and can't wait until English is all I speak. People walk around here like they are sad, but I couldn't be happier. I think I've already forgotten my life in Hamburg. Ellis Island, here we come!
In the fourth paragraph of "A Letter from the Atlantic," Liesl wonders what will happen "if the English all around [her] displaces the German of [her] youth."
How does Liesl's viewpoint conflict with that of her brother?
A. Liesl fears she will not speak English well, while her brother is confident in his English skills.
B. Liesl plans to remain proficient in German, while her brother plans to embrace English.
C. Liesl worries about losing ties to her home culture, while her brother looks forward to joining a new culture.
D. Liesl is certain she will be able to embrace two cultures, while her brother thinks he must choose one.

C Tubman’s parents were elderly, so the trip across the country was difficult.
D During the war, Tubman focused on helping the army free people held in slavery
Answer:
I think its C because it just fits the first summary
The details should be added to create an effective summary is Tubman’s parents were elderly, so the trip across the country was difficult. The correct option is C.
What is a summary?A summary is a brief recounting of a larger written text that contains the author's main points. Summarizing improves both you're reading and writing abilities. To summarize, you must carefully study a piece, identifying the key concepts and supporting arguments.
Summarizing is similar to outlining a play's storyline. For instance, if asked to sum up the plot of Shakespeare's "Hamlet," you may respond that it tells the tale of a young prince of Denmark who learns that his mother and uncle had murdered his father, the former king.
Therefore, the correct option is C. Tubman’s parents were elderly, so the trip across the country was difficult.
