Answer:

The Proclamation of 1763 was at the end of the French and Indian War to the Native  Americans. It first started when King George III  made it so that all lands west of the Appalachian Mountains were divided off-limits to the Colonial settlers at that time. The settlers were furious and most did not want to follow it. The proclamation was intended to be temporary but it benefited them so much they kept it longer. It was the first controlling act that Britain took over the 13 colonies. To enforce the proclamation they would randomly stop people from going west and even forcibly remove others.

What is the two-step process for amending the
Constitution?

Help ASAP!!

Answers

Answer:

Step 1: Two-thirds of both houses of Congress pass a proposed constitutional amendment. This sends the proposed amendment to the states for ratification. o Step 2: Three-fourths of the states (38 states) ratify the proposed amendment, either by their legislatures or special ratifying conventions.

Explanation:

The two-step process for amending the Constitution is proposal and ratification. Congress and the states can both participate in the proposal stage, but the states themselves must fight for ratification.

What do you mean by the amending the Constitution?

There are two ways to suggest changes to the Constitution, according to Article V. A convention may be convened by Congress in response to requests from two-thirds of the state legislatures or by the Congress itself through a joint resolution approved by a two-thirds vote.

Step 1: A proposed constitutional amendment must be approved by two-thirds of both chambers of Congress. The proposed amendment is then sent to the states for approval as a result.

Step 2: The proposed amendment must be ratified by the legislatures of three-fourths of the states (38 states), or by special ratifying conventions.

Therefore, the two-step process for amending the Constitution is proposal and ratification. Congress and the states can both participate in the proposal stage, but the states themselves must fight for ratification.

What part of the Secret Treaty at Velasco did many Texans dislike? How do you feel about the decision? Why?

Answer:

That Santa Anna was alive. I think its fine because he was important to Texas.

Explanation:

I did the test :p

Answer:

Student answers will vary. Student responses should reflect an understanding of which part of the negotiations is being referenced and a thoughtful reflection of their opinion which may reflect historical knowledge, an understanding of negotiations, and /or moral or ethical beliefs. Sample student response: Many Texans were angry that the Treaty provided that Santa Anna would be allowed to live and return to Mexico. They wanted revenge for the hundreds of Texans ruthlessly slaughtered under his command at the Alamo and Goliad. I agree that Santa Anna should not have been permitted to live after commanding such ruthless slaughters of Texans. For example, the people at Goliad were told they would be released if they cooperated but they were massacred. He was not a good leader for the Mexican people either and had a history of false promises and poor relationships. or I agree with the decision made at the negotiations to allow a Santa Anna to live and return to Mexico. The Texans needed Santa Ann to follow through with his agreement to make sure Mexico recognized Texas as a free republic and set the border at the Rio Grande.

How many states had a public school system by 1815

How many states had a public school system by 1815

From 1815 to 1850 successive waves of economic and social changes swept across the nation. Revolutions in transportation, from the canal boom of the 1820s to the rapid spread of railroads, stimulated interregional trade and sparked an unprecedented development of towns and cities. In 1820 only 6.1 percent of the population lived in places of twenty-five hundred or more. By 1850 high population density characterized parts of the expanding West as well as the Northeast. The rise of manufacturing and industry in America also signaled dramatic shifts in the nation’s economy. Although the textile factories that emerged in New England were relatively small, some Massachusetts towns such as Lowell and Waltham employed thousands of textile workers by the mid 1830s. Americans continued to view themselves as a nation of farmers, but industrialization was taking hold. The development of an urban-industrial America played an important part in the rise of a unified movement for public schools, which found most of its support in the nation’s expanding cities. Changes in the population also sparked educational reform. Just as immigration proved vital to the emergence of an industrial America, the influx of German and Irish immigrants with different cultures, beliefs, and religions seemed to threaten the stability of an American way of life and system of beliefs. Much educational reform aimed at trying to instill uniform values and cultural norms to counteract the forces of social instability that were transforming a predominantly agricultural and relatively homogeneous nation.

The correct answer is Exploration and colonization in North America

Explanation:

The list presented points out the benefits European countries obtained through the exploration and colonization of America, as well as the effects this caused. Indeed, the list shows the way France, Spain, and England benefited through these processes either by obtaining resources, expanding the economy, or spreading their culture.

In this context, these ideas are suitable in an essay that focuses on the process of exploration and colonization in North America because the countries mentioned in the list and the benefits or effects in this occurred in different zones of North America and were the result of exploration and colonization. For example, Spain colonized areas such as Florida, Texas, or Mexico, England colonized the east coast, and France colonized part of Canada and other areas such as Louisiana.
