Question
What aspects of Latin American culture have most been influenced by the European colonization of the past?

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

Language and religion are the cultural traits that have been influenced the most by European colonization.

Explanation:

Latin America is a region that spreads from Mexico through Central America and South America. The majority of this region has been colonized by Spain, with Portugal having a big chunk in Brazil and several other colonizers but on a much smaller scale. Having the region under their control, the colonizers managed to have a big influence on the population, and some of the biggest influences can be seen in the language and religion of the region.

In all of the countries of the region, the most spoken language is Europen, mostly Spanish and Portuguese, with all other languages that are presently being used locally or on a much smaller scale. The religion in this region is the same throughout it, with Catholic Christianity being by far the most dominant religion, and it has been brought and forced upon the natives by the Spanish and Portuguese.

what is global warming effects the glaciers

Answers

Answer:

Global warming is the process of when our pollution from factories, houses, trash, ect. is basically burning and going into the atmosphere which is basically an aspect of climate change. Our waste creates greenhouse gases which is sort of like a greenhouse, as the heat that is inside gets trapped inside the greenhouse in order to keep the plants warm during cold times. The greenhouse gases heat up the world and can also puncture a hole into the ozone layer of the atmosphere, and the ozone layer is extremely important, as the ozone layer basically keeps the harmful rays of the Sun from reaching the planet. With the ozone layer, we get only a little bit of radiation from the Sun, while too much of it will turn the world into The Maze Runner in real time. In The Maze Runner, the Sun sent out solar flares which were powerful enough to puncture the Earth's weakest part of the ozone layer where we polluted too much. The result was that the entire Earth was like the result of a nuclear holocaust where the dirt was fried into sand and much more devastating effects, such as a new super disease which is the main plot and secondary antagonist in the story. When the ozone layer gets too thin, more of the Sun's rays will be absorbed into the Earth and will warm the planet. With that warmth, the temperature will rise, and ice does have a melting point. Ice will melt and glaciers is made up of ice too. The glaciers will melt and the result will be that the oceans will rise which will delete homes and coastlines. Eventually if we keep up this pollution, the entire Earth will turn into The Maze Runner.

which type of biome has the greatest diversity of plants and animals?

Answers

Answer: A tropical rainforest.

Areas around the equator are home to tropical forests . Half of the tropical woods on the planet are found in Central and South America.

What is Tropical Forest Biomes ?

These biomes have a climate with limited seasonal change (Figure 5), heavy annual rainfall, and consistently warm temperatures. Phanerrophytes, which include trees, lianas, and epiphytes, predominate.

The emergent layer of tall trees in tropical rainforests is over 40 metres tall, the overstory is up to 30 metres tall, the sub-canopy layer is made up of trees and tall shrubs, and the ground layer is made up of herbaceous flora.

Of all the terrestrial biomes, tropical forests have the highest biodiversity and primary productivity. Net primary productivity can be as high as 2-3 kg m-2 y-1.

Even with severely nutrient-poor, heavily leached soils, this high production is maintained because of the rapid degradation rates that might occur in warm, humid environments. Trash decomposes quickly, and mycorrhizae, fungi that live in mutualism with plant roots, help plants quickly absorb nutrients.

This photo shows a plateau. Which events could have caused this plateau to form
select the three correct answers.
Pls help this is urgent!

Answers

Answer:

Uplift raised the level of a piece of crust.

Mountains eroded.

Basaltic lava flowed from cracks in the crust.

Explanation:

A plateau can form in several different ways. It can form because of volcanic activity, the collision of plates, uplift of crust, and erosion.

Uplift that has raised a piece of crust can easily form this plateau. If the crust that is moving up is relatively flat at the top, then it will stick out in the surrounding area like a mountain will, but it will have a relatively flat top, thus making a plateau.

Erosion is very often a factor that creates plateaus. If there is a very large piece of crust that is much more solid than its surroundings, it will erode at a much slower rate. This will result in the crust around it to erode while it remains close to its initial form, thus sticking out as a higher relief form.

In the areas where there is or has been volcanic activity, it is common that plateaus as the one on the image are found. When the lava flows it fills in the valleys, cracks, holes, and when it solidifies it creates solid masses of igneous rocks. These rocks erode very slowly, so while all of the surroundings erode faster and lower down, it remains largely the same in the form of a plateau.

The influence on the rock differs depending on whether it is acid rain or ordinary rain. Acid rain degrades rocks gradually as a result of chemical interactions between the acids and the ions in the stone. Pure water has a moderately acidic pH of 5.6, whereas acid rain has a pH around 4.2 and 4.4.

As a result, the normal rain from acid rain are the based on the rock breaks.

During most of the Mesozoic Era, the Earth was warmer than present.

This is because during the Mesozoic era the land were far away from water bodies which led to prevalence of deserts while today the land are much more closer to the water bodies. It’s a known fact that water bodies help in the thermoregulation and cooling of the atmosphere.

This is the main and feasible reason why the Earth was warmer in the Mesozoic era than now.

Answer:

Sunspots are associated with regions of increasing magnetic field. It is visible on the photosphere.

Explanation:

The region of the Sun that is visible to us is the photosphere. It is the lowermost layer of the solar atmosphere. This is the layer where the energy from the interior of the Sun bubbles up and is released as visible light.

One hypothesis is that sunspots are created by changes in magnetic fields in the Sun. Sunspots usually occur in pairs over regions of intense magnetic activity.

Hope the helps and have a nice day!!

Sunspots are associated with regions of increasing magnetic field. It is visible on the Photosphere.

A sunspot is an area on the Sun with a magnetic field that is about 2,500 times stronger than the Earth's. When there is a strong magnetic field, the magnetic pressure increases while the surrounding atmospheric pressure decreases.

As we know, the photosphere is the visible surface of the Sun. Due to the Sun's gaseous nature, this is not a solid surface but an atmospheric layer that measures about 100 km thick (extremely thin compared to the Sun's 700,000 km radius).

The photosphere is the lowest layer of the solar atmosphere. In this layer, sunlight (visible light) is released as a result of energy bubbling up from the Sun's interior.

Thus, Sunspots are associated with regions of increasing magnetic field. It is visible on the Photosphere. According to one hypothesis, sunspots are caused by changes in the Sun's magnetic field. Over magnetically active regions, sunspots usually occur in pairs.
