Answer:

Story writing using 10 words given in the question.

Explanation:

Once there was a young girl who was so addicted to getting her own way that she hardly has any friends. She would go to an apparel shop alone which greatly irked her but there was nothing she could do. Besieged with the prospect of being alone forever, she decided to denounce her rude behavior and try to change herself. With that change, she began to forsake her old behavior and try to be accommodating as much as she can.

As the days go by, she people began to see a change in her which greatly impressed them. They now know that she is capable of love and goodness, and not the inept person that they thought she'd be. Immensely happy and anxious at the same time, the girl carefully maintained her changed nature so as not to be deemed bad again. Amidst all this, there were some who had misgivings about the change in her and would do anything to see her go back to the same person she was before. Despite all that, there was an instantaneous increase in her popularity, mostly because of her changing nature. And there was no prospect of receding to the awful person she was, for she as determined to prove to the world that she can also be a changed person, changed for the good.

How did Mansa Musa contribute to the economic success of Mali?

Answers

Because of Mansa Musa's pilgrimage across the world (where he showcased his wealth) the kingdom of Mali gained enormous economic success and recognition. When he went on tour showcasing his wealth to everyone he saw, he arguably became the worlds first 'celerity'. Because of his immense wealth and popularity, word got around quickly on how powerful and wealthy the kingdom of Mali is, and many scholars and all sorts of people flocked to Mali. Mansa Musa built mosques and learning centers, and Mali became a hub of learning and a bustling city. Because Mansa Musa gained celerity like status, others recognized Mali as a good place to make money, learn, worship, and live. Because of this boost of population, Mali's economy grew immensely.

STATE OF THE WORLD’S INDIGENOUS PEOPLES

v

Foreword to the State of the World’s Indigenous Peoples

By Mr. Sha Zukang, Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs

Indigenous peoples are custodians of some of the most biologically diverse territories in the world. They are also

responsible for a great deal of the world’s linguistic and cultural diversity, and their traditional knowledge has

been and continues to be an invaluable resource that benefits all of mankind.

Yet, indigenous peoples continue to suffer discrimination, marginalization, extreme poverty and conflict. Some

are being dispossessed of their traditional lands as their livelihoods are being undermined. Meanwhile, their

belief systems, cultures, languages and ways of life continue to be threatened, sometimes even by extinction.

Increasingly, governments are recognizing these threats, and matching such recognition with action. From land

claims settlements and constitutional amendments to important symbolic actions such as apologies for past

treatment of indigenous peoples, governments around the world are making important steps towards addressing

indigenous peoples’ concerns.

In responding to the challenges they continue to face, indigenous peoples have engaged the international

community, calling for a Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and a permanent forum at the United

Nations that meets regularly to discuss indigenous peoples’ issues and make recommendations to the UN system

and beyond.

The United Nations has committed its unwavering support to a future where all indigenous peoples will enjoy

peace, human rights and well-being, and has responded to indigenous peoples’ demands, welcoming them as

partners. The United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples was adopted in September 2007,

and the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues meets annually at UN Headquarters, bringing together indigenous

peoples, Member States, NGOs, UN agencies and other intergovernmental organizations.
